Chris Butler joins the TOROSIETE Museum of Contemporary Art from Charlottesville, Virginia. A Virginia native, Chris has been creating various forms of art for over 26 years: Music, Pen & Ink Drawings, Comic Books, and Photography – but over time, as his life has brought with it new influences and experiences, his works have shifted into emotional abstract expressionism paintings.
Our first exhibition of his works, “The Long Journey” represents this current reflection in his art. Says Chris of this exhibition:
“The Long Journey represents several aspects of my life and the progression of my artwork – and the progression of what it has taken for me to get to this point, and also includes the continued journey ahead. These works reflect the human experience from conception to death and whatever comes after.” – Chris Butler
In our second exhibition of works, “The Dead End of the Street”, Chris Butler explores in a sequential series, his interpretation of the stages of the life-cycle of a relationship.
